What is real

The Owosso Glow 5K Run/Walk is Friday, November 27, 2026 at 5:30 PM. That is the only confirmed Glow fact.

Every other Glow detail, and every other listing, is sample data so you can try the app.

Try these

Open Owosso Glow and take a shift. You only need a name, phone, and email.

Drop the shift, or give it to someone else, from the page you land on after signup.

Chair check-in is locked. Ask the organizer for the password. Scan the QR on a signup, or type the sample code JAMIE7.

Student hours: look up jamie.alvarez@example.com on the hours page, check Jamie in, then look again and print.

Give is a test checkout. Cover fees starts off, so a $50 gift stays $50 and the group receives $47.25. Check the box and the donor pays $52.75. Event Hub by 40thFloor collects the 2% platform fee. 2% platform fee, no tips, ever. No money moves.

The wish list, sponsors, and committee pages are working demos of later rounds. Ask the organizer for the password. Once that session is open, Edit shows on the event details, schedule, roles, shifts, wish list, sponsors, and map pins. The site-owner session can edit those too. Cancel discards. Chairs can copy last year from the committee page, and text the open shifts from an activity.

Pricing is Free $0, Event Pass $79, and Annual $299. Annual auto-renews at $299, with a reminder 30 days before renewal. You can cancel anytime. The food drive upgrade shows a $79 credit from a sample Event Pass in the last 60 days, so Annual is $220 there.

Broadcast previews a count before it logs a send. Get alerts is on each event page, and STOP is on the unsubscribe page.

Search from the home page. Try Lansing to see the 25-mile limit, and "Needs volunteers" to hide free listings.

On a free listing, such as the Corunna parade, use "I want to help." There are no shifts until an organizer upgrades.
